Jolly Phonics: You have all been working super hard on your sounds since you have been at home. Look at all the sounds you have been practicing:
ue, ai, oa, ie, ee and or. That is fantastic work. For today, please choose two sounds you would like to practice again. Find the songs on youtube and sing them. Write the sounds and think of five words for each sound. For example, if you chose oa and ue, you will think of five words for each of these sounds. I can’t wait to hear what you came up with. Reading: You have been working very hard on your reader. Today, I would like you to login to folensonline.

Search Starlight senior infants in the search bar and it will bring you to the Starlight resources.
Select Unit and press 10 The School Play. Scroll down to Big Book 10 and click on open. This gives you access to an ebook The School Play. Read it to your child or you can press play and it will read itself. Discuss the story and pictures with your child.
Religion: Login to Grow in Love using the details posted on Monday. Go to Senior Infants, Theme 7 Holy Week and Easter. Click on number 2, Jesus dies on the cross. Watch the video, “Jesus dies on the cross” and discuss what happened with your child.
Optional activity: Draw a picture of Jesus on the Cross and write the sentence: Jesus dies on the cross.
Gaeilge: Log in to Folens online using the details posted above. Search Abair Liom senior infants in the search bar. Click on lesson and click on number 23 An Cháisc. This means Easter. Open the Póstaer (poster) and then press Scéal (story) Listen to the story. It means: Daddy, Seán, Síofra and Oisín are in a field. They are collecting Easter eggs. There are Easter eggs everywhere. There are rabbits and chickens in the field too.
When you have listened to the story, click the home button and it will take you back to the main page. Click on foclóir 1 and your child can play the game, matching the words to the pictures. Answers: An Ghrian = The sun, Spéir = sky, Crann = tree, Ubh chásca = Easter egg, Uan = lamb, Scamallach = cloudy, Féar = grass
