Good Morning everyone, I hope everyone is well today. Please see below activities your child can complete today.
Jolly Phonics: Today we will focus on the second sound of the song I posted yesterday, OR.
Go to the Jolly Phonics songs on youtube, stop the video at 6.47. Children sing song, write sound and together think of some words that have the or sound e.g. storm. Encourage your child to use their knowledge of rhyming words to think of more words.
News: Encourage your child to tell you their news and write 3 /4 sentences for them to copy. Please write news in a copy or on a page, whatever is available at home. Example: Today is Tuesday. It is a cold, cloudy day. We will play a game today. Remind your child about starting letters in the right place and finger spaces!
Oral Maths: Continue to count forwards, backwards and in 2s. Write numbers up to 20 on pieces of paper, mix them up and encourage your child to put them in order. Drop a cube/coin something small into a tin or box and your child can count the “drops” without looking.

Optional activity: Do another page of the Easter addition booklet. Remember to write your numbers carefully!
Religion: Login to the Grow in Love website using the details I posted yesterday. Watch the Last Supper video again. Children can draw a picture of Jesus and his friends at the Last Supper.
SPHE: Watch the video Time to come in Bear on youtube. This is a simple, short video for children about social distancing.
Sight words: Please work on Tuesday’s words today.
