Good morning everyone! I hope everyone is keeping well.

I sent an email yesterday about starting to use the Seesaw app. Thank you to those of you who have signed up to it. The work I set won’t change and I will still post here on the blog for those of you who do not have access to it. I will send another email today between 10 and 11 with a new letter code if you need one.

Please see below some activities your child can do today.

Maths: We began learning about time yesterday. Put 1 minute on a timer and see how far you can count up in 1 minute! How did you feel counting against the clock? Say the days of the week in order. Mam/dad say a day and have your child say the days of the week starting at that day e.g. mam/dad says Tuesday and child continues on. Do this starting at a few different days. Talk about what you do on different days of the week. Which days are the weekend? Which day is your favourite day of the week?

Planet Maths: big book pg. 86 Colour in the days of the week and answer the questions

Gaeilge: Practice counting as gaeilge up to ten. Watch the short video below to revise counting as gaeilge.

Abair Liom pg. 67 B Cé Mhéad (how many) Count the items in the pictures as gaeilge and write the answer in the box. Colour in the pictures.

Word Work: Please see attached new words for this week. Please work on Thursday’s words today

Optional: Wind down after all that learning and concentration with this relaxation activity: Let’s Unwind

Have a lovely day everyone!
