*Don’t forget that RTE are showing an education programme at 11am this morning.
*Tomorrow (Tuesday) a food box for your child is being delivered to the school. Senior infants’ time slot to collect the food is between 10 to 11am. Only adults are allowed on the premises of the school and please come alone to collect the food pack.See the school’s homepage for further information.
Jolly Phonics: You have all been working very hard on your sounds the last couple of weeks. Please keep up the great work!
Today’s sound: ee, or. Go to the Jolly Phonics songs on youtube, stop the video at 6.47. Focus on the ee sound today. Children sing song, write sound and together think of some words that have the ee sound e.g. see. Encourage your child to use their knowledge of rhyming words to think of more words.
CVC rhyming words: On Thursday I gave you a CVC rhyming worksheet and asked you to do the first five. Please complete the rest of this sheet which I have attached. If you cannot print the page, please complete it in a copy if available or on a page.
Religion: Easter is coming and this week we will learn about the Easter Story. You can use our Grow in Love programme online. Google Grow in Love and login with the following details:

Go to Senior Infants on the homepage and click on theme 7 Holy Week and Easter. Click on number 1 The Last Supper. Play the video The Last Supper and chat about what you have learned. Example: Why did some people want to get rid of Jesus? Who did Jesus ask to get the Passover meal ready? Where were Jesus and his friends? What food did they eat?
