Good Morning everyone! I hope you all a lovely Easter! I know it might be hard not being back and school with all your friends this week, but you and your families are doing great by staying at home and keeping everyone safe! You are especially doing great at keeping up with your school work. It is so important we keep up our learning so we don’t miss out on anything.
I would love if you could all send me an email to let me know how the work I have been setting is going at home. You could even take pictures on a phone / IPad and include them in the email. But just a reminder ALL EMAILS MUST BE FROM THE E-MAIL ADDRESS OF THE PARENT/GUARDIAN .
It is especially important now to keep in touch as I will begin to use our Starlight book for Literacy, our Planet Maths online resources for Maths and our Abair Liom online resources for Gaeilge. I don’t want anyone to miss out. I will be giving details on how to access these resources later this week.
Here are your tasks for today:
Maths:
3rd Class – revision on subtraction of two digit numbers. I will be doing a lesson on exchanging this week for anyone who is struggling with subtraction. Give this a go today!
4th Class – revision on Long Multiplication. I did say we would revisit this, A LOT!
Literacy & SESE:
Spelling- correct the spelling mistake
SESE- Tsunamis Fact File. Read the facts on Tsunamis and answer the questions. This is an introduction to a number of lessons we will do on extreme types of weather!
Gaeilge:
Choose a greeting to learn today from the conversation cards
