Today we will look at the 100 square. Ask your child to point out a particular number. We have done lots of work with the 100 square so they should be able to find it for you. Then give them a blank 100 square and ask them to fill in 1,2,10,99 and 100 for today.
We will then look at the 10 frames video and chat to them about number sense, particularly the friendly numbers (how many more to make 10?/what goes with this number to make 10?)
If your child has managed this well and you want to move on to double 10 frames, then the third video here should help. Draw out 2 10 frames and give your child some pasta pieces as counters.
