Good Morning everyone! Happy Friday! You are getting your Easter Holidays today! I hope everyone is keeping well. Happy birthday to Alyssa and Sophie O’H who are celebrating their birthdays during the holidays. Have a lovely day girls!

Please see below some activities your child can do today.

SPHE/Reading: Brenda’s Boring egg. Read the attached ebook to your child. This lovely rhyming story is about how it is what is on the inside that counts!

Optional activity: Every day at 11am famous author David Walliams is reading one of his stories for free. If you would like to listen to his daily stories, just visit this website and press play! Some of his stories are very funny, I think you will enjoy them! https://www.worldofdavidwalliams.com/elevenses/

Maths: What day is it today? What day will it be tomorrow? What day was it yesterday? What month is it? What season is it? What is the weather like today?

I have attached a 2d shape Chick picture for you to do! If you can’t print the picture, see what shapes you need, draw them yourself and cut them out to make your very own chick!

Religion: Remember that Easter is not just about delicious Easter eggs! Watch this short animation of the Easter story. Say a prayer for the people who are sick in the world, those who are lonely, or anyone you would like to say a special prayer for today. Remember how we bless ourselves in school. Ask mam or dad to light a candle for your prayer if you have one and I’m sure they will let you blow it out, just like we do in school!

Have a wonderful Easter break everybody. I hope everyone stays well and stays safe. Remember to do lots of drawing, colouring, reading, playing with your playdough, Lego and all your other lovely games and I’m sure I will see you soon!
