Please see the following activities your child can do today.
Word work bingo: Revise the sight words your child has been working on this week. Call out a word and encourage your child to identify it and place a counter/cube/sweet anything that is handy on top of the word. You could take it in turns and have your child call out a word for you to cover.
Writing: News. Encourage your child to tell you their news and write 3 /4 sentences for them to copy. Please write news in a copy or on a page, whatever is available at home. Example: Today is Friday. It is a cloudy day. We will go to the park today. Remind your child about starting letters in the right place and finger spaces!
Maths: Oral maths: Skip counting in 2s! This fun video goes all the way to 100! I bet you can sing along with it!

Art: I have attached an Easter themed paper basket template. Children can colour, cut and glue together the basket. If you are unable to print the template, please encourage your child to paint/draw/colour an Easter themed picture today.
Reading: Please continue to encourage your child to read as much as possible during this time. Story in reader: Cow takes a bow. Read one/two pages of the story they read during the week as revision.
Please continue to encourage your child to engage in lots of free play, play dough, jigsaws, movement breaks on gonoodle, cutting and pasting activities, board games and reading for pleasure.
