Senior Infants received a booklet of worksheets to complete during the school closure. The booklet includes phonics, writing, Maths, letter and number formation. Children can work on these as well as continuing to read the story we were working on this week, “My Classroom” in their reader. Please encourage your child to sound out words and question them during their reading to ensure comprehension. I will be updating the class blog regularly with worksheets and activities the children can do while at home to ensure continuity of learning.
Jolly Phonics: Please see the link below for Jolly Phonics sounds and songs. Children can sing the song, say the sound and think of/write words beginning with the various sounds. We have been working on the sound “ue” this week, but encourage your child to practice as many as they like!
