I hope everyone had a fantastic St. Patrick’s Day!

Please continue to encourage your children to read as much as possible during the school closure. Some activities the children can do include:

Continue working on the booklet that was sent home last week. The phonics, Maths and handwriting in the booklet will help keep your child busy and continue their learning.

Counting: We have been working on skip counting in 2s. Please see the fun video below to help your child practice counting in 2s. Children could also count forwards and backwards to 20 or beyond if they would like to!

Reading: Children can continue to read the story My Classroom. Word work: each, their, table, chairs.

Writing: Children can write their news, e.g. Today is Wednesday. It is a cloudy day. It was St. Patrick’s Day yesterday. Encourage your child to make up their own news.

https://www.starfall.com/h/ltr-classic/ is a great website for phonics and stories the children would enjoy.
